This weeks Weekly Budget Recipe was given to us by Belinda. George Street Community Place is happy to announce that Footprints in Brisbane Incorporated is back with is this week :) They will be on premises today from 12.30pm – 2.00pm for the community to access. They have an operational laundry and two full size showers for those who do not have access to those services and may be homeless. Queenslanders with Disability Network is excited to invite you to the Caboolture Peer Support Group for people with disability living in the Caboolture area. In the meeting people will find out through guest speakers what the State Government is doing around disability in Queensland. Queenslanders with Disability Network would like to hear from you about issues arising in your area of need in regards to the NDIS and around accessing Carers Queensland local area coordinators (LAC) and the difficulties in meetings and not being able to contact your LAC when it is applicable to your reviews and who your contact is for these reviews. Knowing that there is no longer a Carers Queensland in Caboolture as they have moved to North Lakes we understand the difficulties in getting there so would like to chat to all those who wish to come.
