George Street Community place is today hosting Footprints in Brisbane Incorporated . They will be on premises every Wednesday from 12.30pm – 2.00pm for the community to access.

They have an operational laundry and two full size showers for those who do not have access to those services and may be homeless.

If you are homeless and want a shower, a place to wash your clothes, or just to hang out and chat then please feel free to come to 9 George Street Caboolture to access Footprints facilities.

Unfortunately we have seen a lot of aggressive behaviour from clients of late. This has been extremely hard on our staff and volunteers as well as other clients who have had to witness this behaviour.

Whilst we understand people are under a lot of stress during these hard economic times, we at Caboolture Community Care would like to make it known that any aggressive behaviour, abuse or violence towards our Volunteers or Staff or other clients will not be tolerated and those who do so will be banned from our service.

Caboolture Community Care would like to advise that we will only be open for half a day tomorrow. Our doors will be closing at 12.30pm.

For anybody needing an appointment please call our office from 9.00am tomorrow morning to be sure you can be seen as we won’t be reopening our doors till Tuesday.

We have been lucky enough to receive a donation of food items yesterday and have been able to make up some great hampers to help out those in need.
